Safety protective warp-knitted mesh technology centres on high-speed warp knitting machines, prioritising precise control of strength and protective properties. Materials such as high-tenacity polyester, nylon or fibreglass are selected, interwoven through warp-lacing and weft-insertion to form a stable mesh structure. Mesh apertures ranging from 2-50mm can be customised.
Multi-comb jacquard or double-needle-bed weaving enhances dimensionality and impact resistance, with some variants incorporating cut-resistant yarns for specialised protection.
Subsequent heat setting, PVC/PE coating, or anti-ageing treatment improves abrasion and weather resistance. The finished product exhibits high tear resistance and prevents fraying, making it suitable for applications such as edge protection, machinery guarding, and explosion isolation. Weaving efficiency exceeds traditional methods by over 30%.
